Welcome to The Hillgate

Located in the pretty streets behind Notting Hill Tube station, the Hillgate is a local pub with great food. The menu has a seasonal focus, serving fresh British produce.

The selection of real ales from around the country are rotated regularly keeping the selection fresh and interesting. We love wine and have accrued an extensive cellar of wines from around the world.

Sit inside and have a drink or soak up the sunshine at one of our tables outside..

The upstairs dining room makes an ideal wedding and private party venue and can be booked in advance. Our Chefs will happily prepare a buffet or canapés for your event.

“Prebooked a table at The Hillgate for our first roast dinner after lockdown and was far from disappointed! The food was unreal! With social distancing and cleaning measures clearly in place, the team still managed to maintain an authentic and relaxed pub experience. We felt very comfortable and safe and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the pub as well as the delicious food. Well done to the hillgate team! I’m sure it was very stressful opening this weekend but they have absolutely smashed it!”
